ECG - Basic Provider

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who participate in the management of cardiovascular care and/or emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who require this specialized knowledge for their job.

Course includes:
• Basic electrophysiology
• 3 & 12-Lead ECG Limb Lead Placement
• Normal ECG Measurements
• Basic Arrhythmias

Estimated Course Time:  3.5 Hours

Written Test must successfully be completed in order to receive certificate of completion.

ECG - Basic Provider with Pharmacology

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who participate in the management of cardiovascular care and/or emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who require this specialized knowledge for their job.

Course includes:
• Basic electrophysiology
• 3 & 12-Lead ECG Limb Lead Placement
• Normal ECG Measurements
• Basic Arrhythmias
• Administration of appropriate drugs within the ACLS algorithms

Estimated Course Time: 6.25 Hours

Written Test must be successfully completed in order to receive certificate of completion.

ECG - Advanced Provider

This interactive course is designed to equip the student with the tools necessary to rapidly evaluate a 12-Lead and 15-Lead ECG.  It reviews basic anatomy and physiology of the heart as well as proper chest and limb lead placement.  The rapid evaluation tool allows the student to interpret abnormalities within the heart such as:

  • ST Elevation
  • Bundle Branch Blocks
  • Hemiblocks and More

Attending students should have a basic knowledge of ECG interpretation prior to registration. It is recommended the student complete the ECG – Basic with Pharmacology course prior to this course.
