2-Day Review Course to prepare for the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing Exam.

 Course requires a specific amount of students.  Course will be canceled five (5) days prior if the minimum number of students is NOT reached.

TNCC is an information loaded course that provides core-level knowledge and psychomotor skills associated with implementing the trauma nursing process. The trauma nursing process is used to standardize the approach to trauma care and is reflected throughout the course and manual.  The TNCC teaches a systematic approach for the care of the injured patient. This course is intended for RNs but may be audited by other medical personnel for CECHs.

• Special Populations: Pregnant, Pediatric, and Older Adult Trauma Patients

• Ocular, Maxillofacial, and Neck Trauma
• Thoracic Trauma
• Abdominal Trauma
• Spinal Cord and Vertebral Column Trauma
• Musculoskeletal Trauma
• Surface and Burn Trauma
• Disaster Management
• Psychosocial Aspects of Trauma Care
• Transition of Care for the Trauma Patient
• Demonstration of the Trauma Nursing Process Station
